Recently, Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo gave their fans a glimpse of their breathtaking “mountain hideaway” in Rizal. The lovely couple showcased their unique and eco-friendly container house, which they proudly refer to as their “dream project.”

In a YouTube vlog released on February 27, the popular actors gave us a virtual tour of their cozy retreat. Their stunning property includes a main house, a guest house, a staff house, a greenhouse, and a few spacious view decks that offer breathtaking vistas of the Laguna de Bay.

“Itong mountain hideaway namin ay magkakahiwalay [at] kung mapapansin niyo, gawa siya sa container,” Mercado shared. “Naisip lang namin na container kasi naisip namin na parang madaling gawin dahil ilalagay na lang siya.”

From the inviting and stylish interior design to the stunning views of the natural surroundings, Jennylyn and Dennis have definitely created a picturesque and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo’s “mountain hideaway” in Rizal is not only stylish but also functional. The main house, for instance, boasts of a spacious kitchen, an outdoor dining area, and four bedrooms - one each for the couple, their daughter Dylan, Jazz (Mercado’s child with actor Patrick Garcia), and Calix (Trillo’s child with beauty queen Carlene Aguilar). There’s even another guest room to accommodate visitors!

“Mahilig kasi kami manood ng mga tiny house. [Akala] namin mas madali ‘yung container house pero mas mahirap pala kasi kailangan siyang i-transport dito sa Rizal area,” Trillo, added in reference to their home's inspiration.

Although the construction of their dream project started in June 2021, the celebrity couple kept it under wraps until they revealed it to the public in December of the same year. But their stunning property in the Philippines is not their only real estate investment. The actors also own a house in Las Vegas, which they recently visited and shared on social media.
